About Choral Spectrum:
Choral Spectrum is a mixed chorus for all voices. Choral Spectrum is about Love, Acceptance, Support, Community, and Fun. We sing all types of music. We strive for musical excellence. We use music performance to engage, enlighten, and enhance the community. Choral Spectrum aims to provide a musical LGBTQIA community for those seeking a mixed chorus experience.

Pre/Post-Covid 19 Rehearsals:
Unfortunately, until there is a vaccine, we cannot rehearse in a normal choral setting. As soon as it is safe to do so, we will resume our normal activities.
Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7pm-9:30pm.
@Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1700 Westport Rd, KCMO

How the Virtual Season Will Work:
Choral Spectrum will be posting a series of Virtual Performances. There are no set rehearsal dates. There are, however, video submission deadlines for each singer. Videos will be posted every 2 weeks between August and November. Then, on Thanksgiving day, we will post a full length virtual performance.

Needing help preparing to make your videos?:
1. Rehearsal tracks are made available to all singers.
2. When recording, you will be singing along to a performance recording that has singing included with the accompaniment.
3. Singers are encouraged to have a Zoom lesson with the Artistic Director to help learn the music.

Dues:
Normally, dues are $20 per month. They cover many costs, including music, mechanical rights, and administrative expenses related to producing a Virtual Season. However, because of the economy, joblessness, etc, singers will be encouraged to make a donation in lieu of dues.

Auditions:
Auditions will continue on an ongoing basis. If you would like to take part in our Virtual Season, please fill out the Audition Request form below. Auditions will be conducted via Zoom and take approximately 10 minutes.
