In the spirit of Choral Spectrum, we removed all gender requirements when casting, allowing any person to audition for any part.  The full chorus will also perform all of the ensemble parts, including the Maidens, Police, and the Pirates.  It is a very funny and quirky show that is lighthearted and family friendly.  This operetta is a historically significant work that has been performed all over the globe for over a century.

 

We have added a special outreach performance for our LGBTQIA+ youth, on Friday, April 12th, at 7pm!  Free tickets are available for all school age kids who attend. Club Sponsors/GSA Representatives/etc will receive free admission, with a suggested $15 donation.  

Free student tickets at the door are "first come first serve."

For this special performance, we are encouraging everyone to dress in their best pirate costume.  The best dressed pirate will win a prize.  For those who don’t have costumes, we will have a pirate hat-making station.  Also, after the performance we will provide punch and cookies.
