Joining the Board of Directors

Choral Spectrum is looking for people who are passionate about making a difference.

Our Mission: To provide a safe place of inclusion and expression to all LGBTQIA and Allies in our community using the power of music to enrich lives and influence our acceptance by all who listen.

To supplement the current board, we are seeking additional enthusiastic persons with experience in one or more of the following areas: choral music, business finance, legal, marketing, fundraising and/or grant applications.

Board members are expected to support the LGBTQIA community, attend all scheduled monthly board meetings and at least one performance during each concert series as well as attend the organization’s annual business meeting.

Each board member is elected to serve a two-year term and after serving two consecutive years is eligible for election to an officer position for two additional years or to continue to serve as a non-officer board member for an additional two years provided they remain a member in good standing.

All board members are expected to contribute directly or raise funds for the organization and be a member of at least one of the organization’s standing committees.
